An article in pmline.com raised the question of “Does digital primary care offer a sustainable solution?”. Over the course of the pandemic to date, the introduction and usage of digital healthcare has grown dramatically. From telephone triage to video consultations, the integration of the NHS and healthcare technology has become the norm. Will this continue after the pandemic?

Monitoring oxygen levels in patients

The BBC news highlighted how monitoring Oxygen levels in the blood can detect COVID and reduce the impact of a second wave. The article states “monitoring blood oxygen levels could prove crucial in determining whether someone has coronavirus or another respiratory illness.”
