NHS England to reassure public

At the start of the week, Dr Nikki Kanani, stated that NHS England ‘can and will do more’ to reassure the public that GP practices will remain open. She reiterates the message that the public can see a GP when they need to.

There are concerns that as the UK enters another lock down, that patients might feel unsure about visiting their surgery.

Ciaran at Menlo Park said: “This is great news! Patients need to be fully aware of how their GP surgeries are available for them during this second lockdown.”
