The Opportunity

We are working with a digital health company who are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join their growing team. We are looking for someone who can translate business strategies and user needs into enhanced, engaging user experiences.

The Role

Your focus will be mostly on delivering excellent UI, but will get involved in all aspects of the company’s design operations including research and UX.

  • You will develop and create visual user interface elements, whilst adhering to style standards of fonts, images and colours is required
  • Research interpretation to produce and present designs that are functioning and engaging
  • Experience in developing design ideas using storyboards, sitemaps and process flows
  • Development and management of a library of UI components, establishing accessibility and inclusivity in all products
  • Collaborate and offer feedback to both developers and engineers to support them in the development of the products, following your requirements
  • Create usable, clean and creative user interfaces that span across numerous platforms and devices

As a UX/UI Designer, you will maintain knowledge and understanding of current, fresh trends within the sector, working in a small design team to strengthen an evolving, dynamic product set.

The Candidate

You will bring at least 2+ years’ experience in a UX/UI design-related role, experience in designing user interfaces for Android and IOS, as well as web and present a portfolio of design projects, including app designs. You will also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Design-related field
  • Current knowledge of Sketch or Figma
  • Recognised experience of collaborative working within an organization’s product, tech and research teams
  • Deep understanding of accessible design and working in an agile environment
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems and component libraries

Salary – £60,000 – £65,000
