The Role

As Engineering Lead, you will

• Drive the path of the company’s tech stack and ensure high quality practices are observed at all levels.
• Manage a small team of brilliant engineers whilst using judgement to make essential decisions surrounding the technical strategy
• Enjoy being part of a team and being a proactive team member, solving problems and have enthusiasm to work in a start-up space
• Create a team and act as a mentor to offer support and guidance to other engineers

The Candidate

• 4 years’ experience in professional software development
• Experience collaborating and sharing ideas
• Experience in a team building environment where mentorship has been evidenced
• Knowledge and understanding of Python 3, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Docker, CircleCI and Pulumi (infrastructure as code)
• Demonstrated success producing effective auditable products and software
• Experience of working with AWS Cloud ECS (Fargate) + RDS (Aurora) and strong knowledge of System Design and Architecture
