Staff Backend Engineer – Fully Remote, US

The opportunity

We’re looking to recruit a Staff Backend engineer for our client! An excellent opportunity to share your expertise in a highly collaborative environment where you will help design and implement components within the developer platform. Our client is working within the electronic medical records (EMR) space and are a well-funded start up quickly being recognised for their work.

The Role

If you are passionate about the healthcare space, this may be the opportunity for you!

• Work closely with the product owner, engineers & architects on your own vertically integrated team
• Maintain excellent developer experience for their internal teams by utilising useful developer tooling
• Representing the engineering team on external meetings for prospective clients
• Work with the internal teams to help design the API’s & SDK’s that they’ll use to build the platform

The Candidate

• A strong community of collaborators work here; meaning you need this too!
• API design experience
• Excellent writing & communication skills
• Experience with python, docker & Django
• Experience working as a platform engineer
• Most importantly, passionate about making a difference within healthcare!

The Package

Salary – $140,000 to $180,000 DOE
