Sexual Health & Contraception Nurse

Background –

This is an absolutely fantastic opportunity for a LARC Nurse to join a forward-thinking GP Practice. The practice pride themselves in delivering high quality patient care, with everyone striving to do their best to create a happy working environment. You will have access to mentorship, clinical networks and peer group support, as well as having opportunities to train, learn and develop.

You will work closely with a team of supportive clinicians to ensure the greatest level of care is delivered to all patients, being involved in the counselling, fitting, and removal of LARC devices, and supporting patients to make informed choices around contraception options that suit them.

Salary – £32,760 – £34,320 per annum + NHS pension + 25 days annual leave + BH

Your role –

• Part-time position (Up to 30 hours)
• Deliver exceptional levels of care to all patients
• Work autonomously and as part of a team
• Encouraging the uptake of cervical screening, and providing information on family planning and sexual health to patients
• Telephone and face-to-face appointments
• Support the wider nursing team, providing advice and guidance where applicable, in relation to LARC.
• Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team
