Here we have an opportunity for a Salaried GP to join a forward-thinking practice with a close-knit, happy team and a long-standing Partnership in the Haywards Heath area. The practice is highly supportive of career progression and development and is keen to give someone the opportunity to take on a Partnership role relatively quickly if they would like to!

The practice offers a very manageable workload, 15-minute appointments, a solid multi-disciplined team and no extended hours! It’s a great opportunity regardless of whether you’re experienced as a GP or just starting out after qualifying.

Salary – £93,000 – Partnership drawings + NHS pension + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave

Location – Haywards Heath area

The surgery

• Nice area on the outskirts of Haywards Heath
• Multi-disciplined team, including Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacist, ANP, et al.
• Very low number of home visits
• Supportive training practice
• Excellent QOF performances
• Close-knit team of clinicians, management and admin staff
• Lots of work done for the local community; mental health, asylum seekers, diabetes, et al.

Your role –

• Salaried GP or Salaried GP with a view to Partnership
• 5 – 8 sessions per week
• Manageable workload of 27 patient contacts per day
• 15-minute appointments for new ailments
• Mixture of telephone and face-to-face appointments
• Very low home-visiting numbers
• AM or PM duty – never a full day
• No extended hours
• Chance to pursue specialist interests
