Salaried GP/GP Partner

A picturesque opportunity to work in a picturesque area. This popular Training Practice in the Looe area of Cornwall are looking to recruit another Salaried GP to add to their team having replaced three retirements in recent years. The Partnership, and the team as a whole, has got younger and very dynamic, particularly with the recruitment of their newest Partner, a GP Trainer very well-known and well-respected in Cornwall.
There is water running right alongside the surgery offering an unbeatable view from your consulting room and with a very reasonable workload, the practice has even been able to start a swimming club which takes a dip in the sea at lunchtime. Some GPs even go kayaking before the start of the day, with the practice installing a shower within the surgery to allow the team to get ready for clinic.
Applications from newly qualifying GPs and GPs requiring Tier 2 visa sponsorship are both very welcome.

Salary – c£11,000 per session + indemnity cover

Drawings – accounts are available during the process but practice is in the high earning bracket

• Coffee break every morning and regular team and clinical meetings

Your role –

• Salaried GP, Salaried with a view to Partnership or GP Partner
• 4 or more sessions, full-time available
• Fair and reasonable workload:
  • 30 patients per day
  • 10-minute phone calls, 15-minute face-to-face
• Minimum of 2 in the Duty team every day meaning you’re never the sole Duty Doctor
• No extended hours requirement
• Flexible start and finish times
• Home-working supported
