Salaried GP and GP Trainer

Background –

A rare opportunity to work as a Salaried GP and GP Trainer for an exceptionally well-organised practice who will invest significantly in your clinical development by funding you to train in Occupational Health, giving you the ability to earn handsomely. The practice has been an established Training practice since 1954 and is heavily involved in training at all levels, with multiple GP Trainers, Nurse Mentor and even a Practice Manager Trainer.

Salary – £10,000 – £11,000 per session (negotiable based on skills/experience) + indemnity cover + 6 weeks leave + 1 week study leave

• GP Trainer will receive the Trainer grant – £8,000+ annually
• Diploma in Occupational Health funded in full by the practice.
  • Occupational Health sessions – between £16,000-£17,000 per session.

Your role –

• Salaried GP
• GP Trainer
• 4-5 sessions + Occupational Health sessions once qualified (12 months)
• Reasonable workload of 15 patients per session
• Very low admin workload
• Low home visiting

The benefits –

• Starting salary £10,000 – £11,000 per session
• Training grant – £8,000+ per year (Training time allocated for training and weekly tutorials)

• Once qualified in Occupational Health, can do additional sessions with sessional rate of £16,000 – £17,000
• Contract modelled on BMA
