Here we have a fantastic opportunity to join a really forward-thinking practice in the Haywards Heath area. This surgery really tries to put patient care at the forefront of everything it does and offers a very manageable workload, meaning that GPs can enjoy continuity of care without the struggles of burnout! This practice is very supportive of development and progression, even allowing a session each week to be worked on an area of specialist interest! There are no extended hours and a very manageable duty clinic, meaning you’re never having to stay late and can actually get off at a sensible hour to pursue hobbies and activities! With flexibility around the number of sessions and days, this really is an opportunity for anyone, be they a newly qualified GP or an experienced one!

Salary – £10,500 – £11,000 per session + indemnity & GMC fees paid + 6 weeks a/l + 1-week study

The surgery

• In a relatively affluent area with a well-educated and fairly affluent population
• Well-staffed with GP Partners and Salaried GPs
• Multi-disciplined team; Clinical Pharmacist, Social Prescriber and Occupational Therapist
• Very low number of home visits
• Highly organised admin team, helping create an efficient environment
• High QOF achievers and CQC Good
• Supportive of specialist interests

Your role –

• 4 – 8 sessions per week
• 15-minute face-to-face and telephone appointments
• Only 24 patient contacts per day
• Very manageable and controlled duty clinics
• Work a personal list, enabling continuity of care for all patients
• No extended hours
