Salaried GP

Background

A family-oriented, friendly teaching practice is looking to recruit a new salaried GP. The practice has exceptional staff retention among their existing clinical and non-clinical team. They are a Teaching practice for medical students and allied professionals and have access to a strong Multi-Disciplinary Team via the PCN. The surgery offers an incredible atmosphere to work in, with an open-door policy and regular meetings with the Multi-Disciplinary team and the practice team. Everyone has an opportunity to voice opinions as to how the practice could be improved. The patient demographic is very mixed, resulting in a very diverse and interesting clinical workload which is set at a realistic level. There is time built into the sessions for admin and additional responsibilities and home visiting is low. The admin team are highly organised and recently trained, so that admin for GPs is low. Progression is available, for those wishing to progress to Partnership.

Salary

• Circa £9,000-£10,000 per session + 7 weeks’ leave + BMA Model contract + NHS Pension
