Salaried GP

Background –
The practice is of a medium-size, there is a real stability in the key positions and they benefit from a great location, being within easy commuting reach of the likes of Plymouth, Launceston and Bodmin whilst still being within very reachable daily distance of Truro and Newquay.
Following the relocation of a Partner, there is now the opportunity for a Salaried GP to join the Practice with definite potential for long-term partnership.
Given the numbers of GPs relocating to Cornwall for a better work/life balance, there is also a relocation package of up to £8,000 available.

Salary – £11,000 per session + BMA model contract + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave + £8,000 relocation package (if applicable)

Location – South-East Cornwall, commutable from much of the wider area such as Plymouth, Tavistock, Launceston, Bodmin and St Austell thanks to excellent road links

The surgery –

• Medium-sized Practice with mixed demographic and higher than average elderly
• Training Practice for Med Students, FY2s and Registrars
• Research Practice
• Experienced, respected leadership team
• High-profile Partnership
• Internally redeveloped Grade II listed premises
• EMIS Web Practice

Your role –

• Salaried GP (view to Partnership available)
• 4 or more sessions
• Very structured, managed workload
• Daily huddles and clinical meetings
• Duty limited to half days and done as a pair to lighten the load
• Supported by Clinical Pharmacist, Mental Health Practitioner and excellent Nursing team
• Supported by Admin Team containing ex-PATH Nurses
