Salaried GP

Background –

An excellent opportunity to join a well-known Training Practice that has made massive strides forward in the last 12-18 months, with further very exciting initiatives in the pipeline.

There is a stable team of GPs – two of which we recruited for the practice originally and who have fed back well since joining – an excellent MDT consisting of Nurse Practitioners – again one of which we recruited – as well as a Clinical Pharmacist, Nurse Lead and CDM and treatment room nurses. The team are also supported by the full suite of PCN roles including Mental Health Practitioner, FCPs, Wellbeing team, Visiting Paramedic Service and OPIC team looking after the care homes.

15 minutes are offered as standard for all appointments and all GPs get 45 minutes at the end of each session for admin, with workflow optimisation as efficient as it is going to get.
Newly qualifying GPs including those requiring Tier 2 visa sponsorship are both very welcome to apply.

Salary – £11,000-£11,500 per session + indemnity + GMC fees + BMA contract terms

Your role –

• Salaried GP
• 4 or more sessions
• Fllexible start and finish times
• Very reasonable workload
  • 14 patients per session – 4 pre-bookable, 2 GP book-only, 8 same-day
  • 15 minutes available for all
• 45 minutes admin time at the end of each session
• No Duty Doctor
• Doctors’ coffee every morning and catch-up slots included too
