Background

We are currently recruiting for an excellent single site practice in Grimsby with a great reputation within the town and its PCN. The surgery is noted for its emphasis on quality and willingness to innovate and promote change within the local healthcare community.

You will benefit from working amongst some of the most established, experienced and well respected GPs locally, who are heavily involved in the LMC and ICB, with further support of a very diverse MDT which includes, ANPs, ACPs, Prescribing nurses, Physician Associates, Pharmacists and Paramedics.

The Practice is renowned for it’s forward-thinking approach, delivering services usually seen within secondary care. They’re currently in the process of setting up an ENT community health network, working alongside a consultant from the local hospital to manage patients in community.

There is a heavy focus on quality improvement with monthly meetings dedicated to this, pinpointing where they want to focus their efforts.

A nurturing and protective team, they see work life balance as critical and where flexibility is the norm.

Salary – £92,950 – £103,500 per annum + indemnity paid + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave + BMA contract

Location – Grimsby

The surgery

• Established GP practice with well-respected doctors
• Wide-ranging MDT including: 2 ANPs, Trainee ACP, PA, Pharmacy Technician (practice-based) 4 Medical Prescribers, 3 Paramedics
• Reasonable patient workload at just 14 patient contacts per session
• 15 minute appointment for face to face consults
• Pro-ratered duty day,
• No visits except end-of-life
• Low admin with good systems in place
• Broad range of GP specialist interests
• Smart, purpose-built premises

Your role

• Circa 4 – 8 sessions per week
• Reduced bureaucracy and paperwork
• Weekly MDT meetings
• No weekend or out of hours’ work
