Salaried GP

An opportunity to work for one of the most forward-thinking practices in the South West. The practice is a well-established and well-respected GP Training practice, based in a smart, modern building. The practice benefits from a sizeable multi-disciplinary team including nurse practitioners, pharmacists and paramedics and a new care model that has replaced the Duty Doctor set-up with a much more streamlined, team-based approach.
The practice have also embraced the changes in how we are all working and there is the opportunity to enjoy a hybrid working pattern, balancing your time between the surgery and your home office. The practice has also invested heavily in two Remote Salaried GPs, who assist the rest of the GP team with phone calls and admin work.
Newly qualifying GPs are very welcome to apply, including those yet to receive their exam results.

Salary – £11,200 per session + Indemnity paid + BMA model contract + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave

Your role –

• Salaried GP
• 4 or more sessions (5+ can work from home one day per week)
• 15 patients per session
• Duty replaced by an Acute Care Team (regular clinic seeing on the day patients)
• Education afternoon once every six weeks
• Opportunity to develop specialisms – very encouraging of interests
