Salaried GP

Background –

You will be joining a well-known Training Practice that is a real centre for education with its numerous GP Trainers welcoming Registrars, FY2s and Medical Students as well as trainee Nurse Practitioners too.

Following a planned Partner retirement, the practice is now looking to recruit some additional Salaried sessions and with one or two further retirements planned in the coming years, there are certainly prospects for Partnership in a mutually agreeable timeframe.

The practice offers a very reasonable and sustainable workload along with plenty of protected admin time have identified and addressed the increasing challenges facing GPs.

Salary – £10,100 per session plus indemnity and NHS Pension

Location – Bournemouth

The surgery –

• Long-established Training Practice with five GP Trainers
• Very mixed population offering good variety
• Geared towards reducing GP workload
• Outsourced clinical correspondance
• Generous workload
• Excellent GP retention

• SystmOne practice

Your role –

• Salaried GP
• 4 or more sessions
• Typical routine session:
• 4 x routine phone call, 5 x routine F2F, 4 x same-day phone call/F2F, 1 x e-consult, 2 x GP book-only follow-up
• Protected, well-managed Duty set-up
• Flexibility around dates and start/finish times
• Coffee break every morning
