Salaried GP

Background –

A very rare opportunity has arisen to join an exceptional Training Practice, managed to ensure people have great work life balance and are protected from the normal strains and pressures you would experience in other practices. Flexibility is the norm here and you are given the autonomy to set your own start and finish times and the option to compress your day if desired and the option to work from home 1 day every fortnight.

Supporting the practice is possibly the most impressive multi-disciplinary team in the area – with a practice employed Paramedic meaning home visiting is by exception and just a half day requirement for duty day, where you wouldn’t see any more patients than a regular day.

All salaried GPs benefit from having a dedicated mentor for the lifetime of their salaried status. Everyone attends monthly educational meetings either in person or virtually giving you 2 hours paid protected learning time per month. An extremely collaborative and social team the GPs here spend an hours lunch together each day providing shared time to discuss both clinical and non-clinical matters.

Salary – Up to £10,938 per session + BMA model contract (protected maternity and sickness leave entitlement)

Your role

• 4 – 8 sessions available
• No extended hours
• Home visiting by exception
• Only half day Duty
• Have a dedicated mentor as a Salaried GP
• Become a GPwSI and take on Clinical Lead responsibilities
• Join a practice where GPs routinely finish at 5.30pm
