Salaried GP

Here we have an opportunity for a Salaried GP to join a forward-thinking practice with a close-knit, happy team and a long-standing Partnership in Brighton. The practice is highly supportive of career progression and development and highlights its forward-thinking attitude by being keen to hear from its own staff members about new ideas and initiatives. It maintains this forward-thinking approach whilst remaining traditional as well, still holding on to the patient-first attitude that they have had for so long.

Based in a lovely GP practice environment and alongside a multi-disciplined team of clinicians, you will have the chance to focus on delivering exceptional levels of care to all your patients in clinic, without working as a duty doctor or having to do extended hours.

Salary – £10,500 – £11,000 per session + BMA model + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave

Location – Brighton

The surgery

• Characterful building with a lot of history to it
• Located in a well-to-do and relatively affluent part of Brighton
• Multi-disciplined team, including an ANP, a Practice Nurse, a Clinical Pharmacist and others
• Very low number of home visits
• Highly organised admin team, including secretaries who deal with GP’s letters
• CQC Good
• Supportive of specialist interests and helping staff develop

Your role –

• 4 – 8 sessions per week
• Dedicated admin time for each session
• Mixture of telephone and face-to-face appointments
• Low home-visiting numbers
• No duty doctor clinic
• No extended hours
• Chance to pursue specialist interests
• View to Partnership available
