Salaried GP

Here we have a rare opportunity to work in the picturesque Surrey town of Farnham for a well-led, forward-thinking training practice with very strong connections to the ICB, PCN and CCG! You will benefit from a huge level of support as a GP, assisted by a wide array of clinicians, such as Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, Mental Health Practitioners and more, as well as some excellent services, including mental health and MSK clinics.

The practice has a real feel of being ‘a family doctors’ which patients really appreciate. Offering a very manageable workload and the chance to develop as a Salaried GP and take on more responsibility, it’s a wonderful environment and an opportunity not to be missed!

Salary – £94,500 – £103,000 + 6 weeks leave + 1 week study leave + NHS pension

Location – Farnham

The surgery –

• GP training practice, nearly always have FY2s and ST3s in practice
• Outstanding multi-disciplined team and support structure
• Strong team of employed GPs with diverse specialist interests
• GPs heavily involved with CCG, ICB and PCN
• Mixed patient base, but an appreciative one that sees the practice as a ‘family doctors’
• High QOF achieving, around 99%!
• Opportunities to develop and progress

Your role –

• Salaried GP
• 5 sessions as a minimum expectation
• Manageable workload of 15 patients per session
• Flexibility on length of appointment – 10 or 15 minutes
• Specialist interests encouraged
