Salaried GP

Background

A rare opportunity to work as a salaried GP in a modern practice with state-of-the-art facilities. This CQC Good practice is currently recruiting a salaried GP for a surgery in Bury. One of the practices core principles is the continued development of staff where portfolio GP careers are encouraged. GPs are supported by a highly skilled clinical team which includes an ANPs, Practice Nurses, Triage nurses, and prescribing pharmacists who have a fantastic team mentality in their approach to the daily workload. The surgery has put a lot of work into developing a triage system designed to reduce unnecessary appointments to GPs, thereby freeing up time to spend on more relevant patients.

This practice recognises the importance of flexibility around professional commitments and the desire for a happy work-life balance; they really care about their GP’s!

Salary

• £91,161.00 – £100,161.00 depending on years post GP qual and skillset.

Your Role

• 4 – 8 sessions (very flexible)
• You will receive your own, spacious consultation room
• Low home visit ratio
• Very effective triage system; designed to reduce GP workload
• No extended hours expected, but available if wanted
• Weekly meetings; lots of contact with your colleagues
• Leadership roles, Partnership roles and Portfolio career opportunities available
