Salaried GP

Background –

This is a rare opportunity to work for a superb, well-organised practice in the picturesque Purley area south of Croydon. The practice is a GP Training practice, teaches medical students and has a large multi-disciplinary team. For a newly-qualified GP there is a mentor system and the practice offers a fair very workload and low daily Docman.

Salary – £10,000 – £11,000 per session (depending on experience) + full indemnity + 6 weeks leave + 1 week study leave + NHS pension

Location – Purley area

The surgery –

• GP Training Practice
• Large MDT including ANPs, Pharmacists, Paramedics and soon to be Physio and Care Co-ordinators
• Mixed/affluent patient base
• Supportive practice – mentor for newly-qualified GP
• Very low admin
• Cohesive working environment
• Superb patient reviews
• High-QOF achieving

Your role –

• 4 – 8 sessions per week
• Telephone triaged based system
• Morning – 16 tel + 1 f2f
• Afternoon – 11 tel + 1 f2f
• No home visits
• Very low Docman
