    You are applying for:

    Remote Salaried GP

    Background –
An unique opportunity to join a trailblazing non-profit, delivering a cutting-edge NHSE initiative supporting practices across an ICB with remote GPs.

You will be employed as a Salaried GP with all the benefits that come from working in the NHS, such as a BMA model contract, NHS pension, 6 weeks annual leave and a week of study leave, but you will work directly for the non-profit who will book your sessions with the practices utilising the scheme.
You will usually have a choice of either admin or consultation sessions, with the GPs who forward-book further in advance typically having more choice. Your working days will always be set though and other than the variation in session types and practices you’re working with, your role will be a fairly standard Salaried GP post!

In the last round of recruitment, we placed numerous GPs with the organisation and have since received continually excellent feedback.

There is a requirement to induct on-site (1-2 days) at the lead Training Practice the organisation supports. As such, GPs in the south-west of England will be best suited for this post, unless you are comfortable with the travel or staying overnight.

Salary – £9,000 – £10,000 per session (as a non-profit, costs are kept to a minimum so if you’re looking for London salaries for example – this isn’t the post for you!)

Location – home-based, supporting practices across Somerset

    The organisation –

    • Community Interest Company (ie. not for profit) wholly owned by primary care professionals
    • Heavily supported by the ICB
    • GP Partner and Managing Partner leadership team
    • Supporting over a dozen practices in Somerset with that number set to grow much higher
    • Offering varied working patterns, sessions and practice types
    • Regular clinical and team meetings to discuss best practice, service improvements etc
    • Excellent feedback from numerous GPs we placed there in 2022

    Your role –

    • Remote Salaried GP
    • 4 or more sessions
    • Choice of admin or consultation sessions (you can vary from week to week)
    • Clinical sessions consist of 12-15 patients plus own generated admin only
    • 15-minute appointments
    • Participating in team meetings (via Teams)

    The benefits –

    • BMA contract
    • NHS pension
    • Indemnity fees paid
    • 6 weeks’ annual leave
    • 1 week study leave
