The opportunity

We are working alongside one of our client partners to locate a Principal Data science Engineer reporting directly to the Director for Data and Business Intelligence. Our client is using a platform using evidence-based approach that delivers clinically proven to positively impact behaviour to assist with chronic disease management. Users are given access to AI-based coaching and digital therapeutic solutions when needed. Our client offers two solutions for its customers and users: Dtx and care delivery solutions across the healthcare ecosystem. Currently the platform covers 20 million lives, supports 10 chronic conditions with more to come and functions in 10 languages.

The Role

The core responsibilities of the role will be to be the expert on business intelligence analytics and the creation of insights for bother internal and external use alongside providing mentorship to the other members of the team:

Identify, recommend, and deploy the most effective data tools and techniques. ( for the setting up and tuning of data warehouses, libraries)
Design and develop the appropriate scripts/ software applications for the management, extraction and analysis of data.
Using SQL, Machine Learning and data mining you will produce insights for both internal and external requirements.
Mentor the development team and produce advice and feedback on BI and Analytics

The candidate

The correct candidate must have the following for an application to be considered:

Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Teradata, SQL or similar.
Knowledge of Python, Jupiter and data science libraries like Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, NumPy
A sold grasp of BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI

The package

Salary: 160,000-$180,000

Our client have been in business since 2012 and have been improving the lives of patients through changing the healthcare ecosystems views on the value of mental and behavioural health outcomes, ultimately reducing costs to Hospital groups and enterprises. They are experiencing strong growth and are very well funded having secured Series D funding back in December 2021. They pride themselves on being a dynamic and collaborative place to work with offices in NY and Boston.
