An opportunity has become available in a well organised practice as a Minor Illness Nurse. The medium sized surgery has a large and diverse team of GPs, Mental Health Practitioners, Paramedics, ANPs and other allied healthcare clinicians.

Work as a Minor Illness Nurse in a friendly & supportive teaching and training practice located close to Milton Keynes and Bedford with excellent commuting links.

As a forward-thinking practice, this surgery is involved in research and is at the forefront of any new pilots and trials. They are also highly supportive of the development of specialist interests.

Salary – £48,750 – £56,500 FTE + 210 hours annual leave + BH

Your role –

• Full-time Minor Illness Nurse
• Triage patients and focus on minor illness and minor injury
• Oversee the acute, urgent on the day demand
• Support the Minor Illness team and Nursing team
• Utilise your Primary Care experience – REQUIREMNT
• Specialise and manage diabetes clinics – REQUIREMNT
• Prescribing qualification – REQUIREMNT
• GP support available
• Thorough onboarding and induction
• Using SystemOne
