Locum GP

Background:

Interim cover required at dynamic GP Training practice in Yeovil.

Workload is very reasonable at circa 12 patients per session, with 15 minute appointments as standard. In addition to the GP team, the practice employ Paramedics who complete the bulk of home visits, as well as seeing the majority of same-day patients.

The team are sociable and tight-knit, with a coffee break every morning and afternoon meet-up prior to the pm session. You’ll be made to feel like part of the team.

Pay Rate: – £750 per day

• Established GP Training Practice
• Stable, experienced and very passionate Partnership
• Geared towards reducing GP workload
  • Paramedics completing bulk of home visits
  • Paramedics also see bulk of same-day patients triaged by Duty Doctor – aim is for Duty Doctor to physically see as few patients as possible to allow them to be more oversight oriented
• Coffee break every morning and an afternoon meet up before the PM session
• Very encouraging of special interests – specialisms make for happier Doctors
