The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high growth, well funded start-up in what is a newly formed function and the first hire into the team. It is a full time position with the expectation to grow a team as the business and your role expands. As Head of Revenue Operations, you’ll have substantial impact on the company and their mission from day one. An opportunity to shape what good looks like and build robust revenue operations function across all aspects of the customer journey. Based in New York you can work fully remotely or there is an office in Midtown Manhattan and you’ll have the option to work in an office if you choose to.

The Role

You will report directly to the COO and be responsible for bringing Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Customer Support together to drive and unlock revenue growth. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing long-term strategic planning and forecasting for the revenue business
  • Owning existing tooling implementing and driving a plan to drive greater adoption
  • Streamlining internal processes and operations to reduce handoffs and increase effectiveness of the customer experience
  • Conduct Pipeline and Account review process and operations and provide automation to forecast revenue call on a regular basis to finance
  • Help increase overall market share by working with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities and grow business.

The Candidate

You should be trustworthy and care about people – your colleagues, customers and everyone around you.

  • You should have 6+ years experience in revenue/sales operations for a digital product
  • B2B SaaS experience
  • Ideally 4 years experience on Salesforce as well as other revenue tools such as Notion, Hubspot, Helpscout and implementation trackers
  • Be highly proficient in financial modelling, revenue modelling, sales approaches and reporting
  • Be able to engage with senior executives and key decision makers and work alongside cross-functional growth teams
  • You should be a problem solver who can dig deep, but know how to ask for help, to uncover solutions
  • You should have experience building a team from scratch

They have a good runway with a growing customer base and have recently raised to expand functional teams to serve existing customers and onboard new ones.
