The Opportunity

We are looking for a Head of Business Development to join our client to support the growth of their specialist Employee Wellbeing and Benefits platform across the UK and EMEA.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO you will take ownership to develop relationships and identify new business opportunities with a view to increasing revenue. You will also be responsible for…

  • Creating and implementing a strategic business plan for the company across the UK and EMEA markets.
  • Managing end-to-end sales process to achieve sales goals and KPIs.
  • Being an advocate and the face of the brand, driving awareness: developing appropriate networks, identifying, and attending suitable conferences and events.
  • Demonstrating a passionate and deep understanding of Employee Wellbeing understanding where the challenges and opportunities exist.
  • Conducting Webinars and taking the lead on presentations
  • Understanding the customers’ needs and effectively communicating the company’s value proposition to a range of audiences from C-Suite to HR.
  • Leading and motivating a team.
  • Collaborating with internal tech, product, and finance teams to determine sales strategy.

The Candidate

You will have at least 5 years’ experience of experience within Business Development, ideally within a fast-paced tech or healthcare environment. You will also have…

  • Experience within B2B or B2B2C environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • A proven track record of developing strategies, scaling and working across UK and EMEA markets.
  • Previous experience in the employee wellness and benefits space, with a proven network of relevant connections.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to your role.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to travel; up to 25% of the time.
  • Have a high level of motivation, strong personal skills and experience in consultative selling.
  • Experience leading, inspiring and recruiting teams.

Salary £90,000-£100,000
