    GP Trainer + Salaried GP

    Background –

    A rare opportunity to work as a Salaried GP and GP Trainer for an exceptionally well-organised practice, with a range of resources to protect GP time and significantly reduce admin. The practice will invest significantly in your clinical development, for example, by funding you to train in Occupational Health, giving you the ability to earn handsomely. The practice has been an established Training practice since 1954 and is heavily involved in training at all levels, with multiple GP Trainers, Nurse Mentor and even a Practice Manager Trainer.

    Salary – £11,000-£11,500 per session + indemnity cover + 6 weeks leave + 1 week study leave

    • GP Trainer will receive the Trainer grant – £8,000+ annually
    • Diploma in Occupational Health funded in full by the practice.
      • Occupational Health sessions – between £15,000 per session.

    Your role –

    • Salaried GP and GP Trainer
    • 4-5 sessions + Occupational Health sessions once qualified (12 months)
    • Reasonable workload of 15 patients per session
    • Very low admin workload
    • Low home visiting

    The benefits –

    • Starting salary £11,000-£11,500 per session
    • Training grant – £8,000+ per year (Training time allocated for training and weekly tutorials)
    • Opportunity to develop special interest in occupational health (Diploma funded in-full by the practice)
    • Once qualified in Occupational Health, can do additional sessions with sessional rate of £15,000
    • Contract modelled on BMA
    • 6 weeks’ annual leave
    • 1 week study leave
    • NHS pension
