    Background –

    This is an outstanding opportunity to work for an extremely forward-thinking set-up where your work-life balance comes first. You’ll be undertaking a varied role, between medication reviews, face-to-face clinics and visits too.

    In positive contrast to a PCN role working across several sites and/or practices, you’ll be directly employed by this large Training Practice, based in one location.

    Experience in a Primary Care setting is essential for this role, though training and development will be given in all other requisite areas.

    We have placed Pharmacists with this practice before, receiving excellent feedback in the process.

    Salary – Band 8a – £48,526 – £54,619 per annum + indemnity + NHS pension

    Location – North Bristol (Southmead area)

    The surgery –

    • GP Training & Research Practice
    • Geared towards reducing Clinician’s workloads
      • Clinical support team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Community Psychiatric Nurses and Occupational Health Nurses all complimenting each other
      • Administrative support team of highly-trained Read Coders
    • Successful strict protocols/processes in place, vibrant team
    • Pilots new schemes ahead of full implementation across the country
    • Superb IT structure and support and organised practice
    • Happy to support specialist interests

    Your role –

    • 3 or more days with full-time available over 4 or 5 days
    • Independent Prescribing
    • Collaborative working alongside fellow Clinical Pharmacists
    • Varied between medicine reviews, home visits and face-to-face clinics
    • Plenty of support, large team
    • Using Emis Web Clinical system
