Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Background –

Menlo Park are working with a forward thinking and well established GP practice, situated in Widnes who are currently looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their close-knit, friendly team. The surgery offers fantastic support and development opportunities to further your career and you would be surrounded by a multi-disciplinary team of experienced clinicians. There is a great deal of flexibility around start and finish times and a mixture of telephone and face-to-face appointments, all working to 10 minute appointment times. You would get involved with home visits but there is no expectation for you to do any extended hours. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Masters qualified ANP to join a very strong and genuinely forward thinking team.

Salary – £45,000 – £53,000 per annum + NHS pension + 6 weeks annual leave + BH + Study Time

Location – Widnes, Cheshire

The surgery –

• Very forward-thinking and supportive GP surgery
• Long-standing team of clinicians, including GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, HCAs.
• Very well-established within the community
• Very flexible start and finish times to work around you
• Keen to help you progress as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
• Based only at one site.

Your role –

• Must have the Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice
• Telephone and face-to-face appointments
• Work to 10 minute appointments
• No expectation for any extended hours
• See the acute, on the day, urgent appointments, minor illness clinics
• Very limited home visits
